The Council for Accrediation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) is an organization
dedicated to the establishment and maintenance of training standards for those who safeguard hearing in the workplace.
CAOHC has been a leader in providing standards for occupational hearing conservation programs
since its inception in 1973. CAOHC certification offers the occupational hearing conservationist (OHC) credibility
and also serves as verification that the conservationist has been trained to the highest standards. CAOHC certification
is recognized by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and required by the MineSafety and Health
Administration (MSHA).
